Kiera's Opening Sequel Idea (Individual)

GENRE: THRILLER/MYSTERY

Beginning (First TWO MINUTES): Kiera is at a party and gets spiked. The last thing she remembers is passing out in the middle of dancing with lots of people crowded around them. The next scene she wakes up in a random house in bed alone, with blood all over her body and in a lot of pain. There is a radio playing distantly in the kitchen and it is blaring news that they’re looking for Kiera, a missing person, as she committed a murder last night. As she listens in horror, flashbacks begin to race around in her head. Flashbacks include getting kicked out the party, getting put in a random car with two people, in a forest area with the same two people, lots of blood and kissing someone that holds a knife. These flashbacks are all clues of what happened the night before.

Middle: Rushes around house, searching for signs of familiarity etc. The person gets to the point of despair and hopelessness, but at the last minute finds a phone ringing in a coat pocket. The person checks the phone and missed calls.  There is a conversation between two people explaining how they are going to frame the character up so they can take revenge on someone else by killing them. More texts give evidence that the two people are going to meet up at 12.30PM at a place called ‘Longley Park’. They agree to meet up ‘in the skate-park shelter behind the black bin’ Kiera uses google maps on the same phone to find the location of where she is, and discovers she is three minutes away from the park and over 50 miles from the place where she went to the party. It is 12.22PM. She has to decide whether to go to the park and find out who has set her up. She is in a lot of pain but decides to go anyway to save her from the police accusations of murder.

End: When she arrives at the park, she goes onto voice recorder on the phone and hides it behind the bin. She hides behind a fence and waits. Nobody turns up for over an hour. Just as she is about to leave and give up, because it is cold and she is covered in blood so it looks even more suspicious, she notices two figures dressed fully in black.  They have a conversation and quickly leave, leaving the phone with a documentation of the conversation. This conversation goes onto to say how Kiera has been framed and their plan to kill her next. The last scene is Kiera going to the police station and handing in the evidence, meaning she can go free and the two people were caught. When they reveals the two people, it turns out to be her ex-boyfriend and his friend who wanted revenge on her because she dumped him.
